Dominos is played by 2,3 or 4 people. A domino set consists of 28 domino stones.
All dominos are placed face down and shuffled. Each player chooses a stone, the player with the highest stone starts the game. Each player then takes the allotted amount of stones. 2 players have 7 stones each and 3 or 4 players have 5.
The remaining stones are known as the stock. The player with the highest stone lays the first stone. The game is played clockwise and the next player must place a stone with the same number of dots next to the first stone.
A double stone, a stone with the same amount of dots on both halves must be placed sideways to the last stone (see illustration). If a player can’t place a domino, then he must take domino from the stock. If he still can’t place a domino, the turn goes to the following player. Dominos can be placed at either end of the domino line. The person who places all his dominos first is the winner
